It is the purpose of this site to bring together those that share a passion for cars. Sharing knowledge, experiences, and opinions (not political) as well as just admiring each others’ vehicles, is highly recommended!

EVENTS

Regular meetings of the Old Farts Sports Car Club will be on the first Sunday of each month at 2:00 PM. Exact locations will vary. Hopefully, members from several areas will participate.

The Old Farts Sports Car Club will be somewhat of a “traveling” sports car club. We are so fortunate to live in an area that has so many attractions “within reach” of a short drive. For instance, the Sam Houston Forest in Huntsville, The Davy Crockett Forest in Palestine, Saledo ( the women always enjoy the shopping here), Kemah Boardwalk, Messina Hoff Winery, etc. A meeting time of 2:00 PM will hopefully fit into most schedules. Allowing 30 or 40 minutes for greetings and conversation (surely no one would ever be running late! ) a “Cruise” should begin.

With Daylight Savings Time in effect now, we should have quite a bit of time to take a scenic “Cruise”, have dinner together at a “nice” restaurant (with plenty of parking available of course), and still return home at a reasonable hour. (Most of us will have to go to work the next morning in order to pay for our cars!) The more input on locations , the better. Everyone has their favorite “drives”, restaurants, etc. that others aren’t aware of. Sharing these and just having fun is what this is all about!!!.
